ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a resourceful and outgoing Director of Human Resources to drive the rapid expansion of
our Denver team and create processes to help grow our company. The Director of Human Resources is
critical to selecting and hiring the right people to grow United Wind. This position reports directly to the
CEO and will work closely with various business leaders across the organization and the management
team. The ability to multi-task and function in fast- paced environment is key.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Manage the hiring process including recruiting, selection and screening and assisting hiring
    managers through the process
  • Interview and oversee the recruitment of job applicants to fill entry level, professional and technical job openings
  • Proactively develop and execute Human Resources strategies and processes
  • Oversee management of all benefit vendors
  • Manage new employee orientation and onboarding processes
  • Engage employees and leadership as key United Wind culture advocate
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, and photocopying

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH THE FOLLOWING…

  • Prefers collaboration, values transparency, mutual respect and hard work in an exciting and
    engaging environment
  • College degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant Human Resources experience
  • Demonstrated success as a Human Resources professional building and implementing new processes
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented with a drive for excellence through constant improvement
  • Happy to pitch in where needed and being comfortable wearing multiple hats
  • Previous experience supporting a remote field organization is highly preferred
  • Passionate about clean energy is a plus!
